How to visit or book in for Belmont Midwifery Group Practice

There are many ways to begin your maternity care with the midwives at Belmont.

  • You can contact Belmont Midwifery Practice directly to arrange to visit the unit to see if it is right for you, or, to book in. You do not need a referral.
  • You can be referred by your GP if you prefer. You can download a referral form and fax it to BMGP.
  • Your GP can send a referral to John Hunter Hospital Antenatal Clinic. You will be contacted and given a booking in appointment at the antenatal clinic. At this visit, you can tell them that you wish to have your baby at Belmont.

Once you have booked in, you will be given a 24-hour mobile number to contact your midwifery team.
