How to visit or book in for Belmont Midwifery Group Practice
There are many ways to begin your maternity care with the midwives at Belmont.
- You can contact Belmont Midwifery Practice directly to arrange to visit the unit to see if it is right for you, or, to book in.
- You can be referred by your GP if you prefer. You can download a referral form and have it faxed to BMGP.
- Your GP can send a referral to John Hunter Hospital Antenatal Clinic. You will be contacted and given a booking in appointment at the antenatal clinic. At this visit, you can tell them that you wish to have your baby at Belmont, but often this is too late to secure a place with BMGP.
Once you have booked in, you will be given a 24-hour mobile number to contact your midwifery team.
You can also visit the official Hunter New England Health site for extra information.
